CU Boulder Campus Plans to Shut Down for 4/20

According to a recent news article from the Huffington Post, the University of Colorado Boulder announced that they plan on shutting down the university for the second year in a row in an attempt to end one of the biggest “420” pot parties. Despite the recent legalization of recreational marijuana this past November, the CU-Boulder officials plan on taking extreme measures in attempts to ward off the potential crowd of pot smokers. In past years, the 420 celebration has yielded up to 12,000 people on campus, and with the recent legalization of  the recreational use of marijuana, this year has the potential to draw in a record number of people.
